After Connie's divorce she was determined to go against all
odds to make a life for her children on a waitress' salary. Her
parents and family desperately wanted her to return to
Alabama to be close to family for support. This only made her
determined to prove her independence. Connie stayed
focused and she was winning against all odds, and her
determination touched the heart of all those around her.
Everything was going well for Connie and her children until
she fell in love with a married man. Through this experience
she learned how blind love almost cost her her life and the life
of her unborn child. The only thing Connie did not realize was
that the help she always gave to others would return to her
during her lowest time in life. Even in her mistakes and the
